For our trusted partner, one of the largest international tobacco companies, for their Global IT department we are looking for a:
Service Change Manager
As a Service Change Manager will be responsible for ensuring changes to services are adequately assessed for impact, prioritised, scheduled, authorised, and implemented, adhering to processes and standards, and utilising appropriate tools.
Good fit would be a professional with:
-Service Change Management experience.
-Ability to design and develop processes to deliver business outcomes.
-Ability to comprehend and apply processes, ensuring adherence and attention to detail.
-Experience working with suppliers, introducing new services.
-Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
-Proven knowledge and experience of tools, technologies, and methods in Change Management.
-Confident in managing key relationships with internal Global Business Services (GBS) teams, business stakeholders and suppliers
-Engaging, articulate and able to influence across GBS and business stakeholders
Will be nice to have:
-ITIL qualified in Change Management
-Experience working in a GBS environment.
-Educated to degree level, ideally in Information Technology, Engineering Business, Economics or equivalent
-Experience with ServiceNow
-Project Management experience
Daily responsibilities will include:
-Own and chair any related Service CABs and manage forward schedule of change.
-Review and assessment of all service changes
-Ensure service changes are reviewed, assessed, and evaluated by all relevant parties.
-Ensure changes for services deliver business benefit, minimise risk and disruption, meet all relevant global and local standards and are communicated effectively.
-Design, implement, manage, and improve the Service Change Management policy, processes, and standards for GBS.
-Manage the risk profile associated with service change, ensuring changes are service ready, manageable, and operable, with any possible risks clearly articulated, accepted and managed at the appropriate level.
-Build and maintain relationships at all levels across the broader GBS organisation and 3rd party suppliers to ensure effective delivery of change.
-Work with the Service Introduction Managers and Change and Release Manager to ensure planning, scheduling, and successful deployment of changes in a controlled and systematic way.
-Provide cover for the Change and Release Manager where necessary.
-Any other reasonable duties aligned to role.
